What to expect at the welcome party?

The welcome party will be open bar and desserts will be served. Everyone is invited! Check out the “local recs” tab to see local recommendations on where to eat and where to explore before the welcome party. And please, don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you need more recommendations.

Is there parking at the welcome party?

Parking is limited and reserved for hotel guests. We recommend using Uber.

Are we celebrating the holidays as well as our wedding?

Yes! We chose our December date because we love the magic and coziness of the holiday season. You may even hear some Christmas music sprinkled in and see some other fun holiday touches throughout the reception.

What is the suggested attire for the wedding day?

Please join us in black tie optional attire. Festive and seasonal attire is welcome! Green velvet tux jacket? Go for it! Floor length fur coat? Absolutely!

Which hotel should I book?

We’ve suggested a few hotels based on location. If you’d like to be walking distance to a few shops, restaurants, and coffee shops- go for the Renaissance located downtown. See “local recs” for suggestions.

If you’d like to be right near the airport for ease of flying in and out- stay at the Desmond. There is a 24/7 complimentary airport shuttle.

Will there be transportation provided on wedding day?

Yes, there will be shuttles available from the hotels to the ceremony and again after the Reception and after the after party. Times will be announced closer to the wedding day.
